 Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) announced a recruitment drive for the positions of Constable/Driver and Constable/Driver-Cum-Pump-Operator. This initiative aims to fill 1,124 vacancies, offering a significant opportunity for those aspiring to serve in this esteemed paramilitary force.

Vacancy Details

The total of 1,124 positions is divided into two categories:

• Constable/Driver: 845 positions
• Constable/Driver-Cum-Pump-Operator: 279 positions

These roles are crucial for the operational efficiency of the CISF, ensuring the safety and security of various public and private sector units across India.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for these positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 and 27 years old as of March 4, 2025. Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms.
• Educational Qualification: A matriculation certificate or equivalent from a recognized board is mandatory.
• Driving License: Applicants must possess a valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV) or Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and should be capable of operating motorcycles with gear.

Application Process

The application window is open from February 3, 2025, to March 4, 2025. Interested candidates should apply online through the official CISF website. The application involves several steps:

1. Registration: Visit the official CISF recruitment portal and complete the One-Time Registration process.
2. Application Form: Log in with your credentials and fill out the application form with accurate personal and educational details.
3. Document Upload: Upload necessary documents, including a recent photograph and signature.
4. Fee Payment: Pay the application fee online or through an SBI challan.
5. Submission: Review all details and submit the application. It's advisable to print a copy for future reference.

• General and OBC Candidates: ₹100
• SC/ST and Ex-servicemen: Exempted from the fee

Payment can be made online via net banking, credit/debit card, or through an SBI challan.

Selection Process

The selection process comprises several stages:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Assessing physical fitness through tasks like running.
2. Written Examination: Testing general knowledge, mathematics, and analytical skills.
3. Trade Test: Evaluating driving skills and knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
4. Document Verification: Ensuring all provided documents are authentic and meet the eligibility criteria.
5. Medical Examination: Confirming the candidate's medical fitness for the role.

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level 3, with a salary ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month. Additional benefits include dearness allowance, medical facilities, and other allowances as per CISF regulations.
